TQ2781 : The former St Mary’s Bryanston Square Church of England Primary School
taken 6 years ago, near to Marylebone, Westminster, Great Britain

The former St Mary’s Bryanston Square Church of England Primary School.
St Mary's Church is a Grade I listed building designed by Sir Robert Smirke (1780-1867). This is the former St Mary’s Bryanston Square Church of England Primary School which is next to the church. That school has now moved nearby to Enford Street. The buildings are now used by Abercorn School, an independent school for pre-prep and nursery children with three premises of which this is one.
This explains why 'St Mary's School' is over the left hand doorway and a much more recent sign over the right hand doorway says Abercorn School.
