The End of Crompton Parkinson's, Netherfield Road, Guiseley
The electrical engineering Crompton Parkinson's factory being pulled down in 2006. The end of an era. At one time the firm was the fourth largest in Britain, built from scratch by local boys, Frank and Albert Parkinson, who merged with Cromptons in the 1920's. The site was brought by housing developers in 2001. In the background Hawksworth Moor.
