Old Gate Posts, Kelcliffe Lane, Guiseley
Old gate posts that used to be across Kelcliffe Lane to stop people and carts from Guiseley using the lane as a shortcut to the Chevin, as this meant them going through the tannery yard at Kelcliffe house. Kelcliffe Lane itself was carved out from a bridle sty in the early 18th century.
Kelcliffe, Guiseley

Area on the side of the Chevin on the outskirts of Guiseley and sitting above the Airedale Gap looking towards Hawksworth and Menston. Kel = spring, Cliff = steep sided. Land was originally on the edge of the Great West Field, and has many springs.
