Kelcliffe Lane, Guiseley
Kelcliffe Lane was made around the early 18th century as a cart track to the tannery at Kelcliffe House. Before that it has been a horse track between the fields of Great Kelcliffe on the right and Little Kelcliffe on the left. At one point the Lane may have been called Padgetts Lane, as brothers James and John Padgett Brown lived at Flattfield House and Kelcliffe Mount.
