A pontoon-mounted crane at the site of the revetment works, on the Co Down side of the Lagan, near the King’s Bridge.

River Lagan works, Belfast 2013/14

A scheme, on the Lagan between the Ormeau and Governor’s Bridge involving repairs to the revetments. River Notice 25/13 records “repairs to the riverbank’s stone pitched revetments between October [2013] and March [2014] . . . . . This repair work is essential to ensure that the banks are protected from erosion and the aesthetic quality of the river corridor maintained”.
