Ceiling of Tewkesbury Abbey
The Yorkist Sun in Splendour in the ceiling of the choir in Tewkesbury Abbey. The emblem is positioned directly above the grave of Prince Edward, the Lancastrian Prince of Wales who was killed on 4 May 1471 at the Battle of Tewkesbury. The only Prince of Wales to die in battle.
