This house has the appearance of being a former public house. The bottom half of the lower windows has the sort of glazing associated with pubs. and the name to the right of the front door is 'The Sportsman'. To its left is the Wesleyan Chapel dating from 1836 - see LinkExternal link (Archive LinkExternal link ) for more information on the chapel.
