Poulner: queue warning sign on the A31
Poulner: queue warning sign on the A31
Looking along the westbound carriageway of the A31 as it approaches Ringwood, a well known spot for queues as traffic merges and converges several times in a short distance. This warning sign, about a mile short of the main hotspot, flashes intermittently - I'm not sure whether it has equipment detecting either particularly slow traffic at the junctions ahead or particularly fast traffic approaching the sign itself: maybe neither.
