Shrunken Mynydd Du Forest in the upper Grwyne Fawr valley

This huge mature tract of plantation is now significantly smaller than it used to be - pockets remain lower down and I expect they will soon be clear felled too.

Without the forestry this valley would be even larger and more remote. I welcome that though.
