taken 11 years ago, near to Embleton, Northumberland, England

Crossing Embleton Burn
Crossing Embleton Burn
As the burn reaches the beach it spreads out and shallows enough to cross dry-shod (for the quick and nimble!). Beyond, rises the stark outline of Dunstanburgh Castle at the south end of Embleton Bay.
