North-west along Westcott Place, Swindon
The schools are still out and many people are enjoying an extended Christmas and New Year break so traffic on this normally busy road is light. The stone-faced building on the right marked by its double bays was once a public house known as The Falcon. It now appears to have been converted into flats. It can be seen in a little more detail here SU1484 : What was 'The Falcon' public house, Westcott Place, Swindon
