Obelisk, Cricket Green, Mitcham

The faded inscription on the obelisk, dated 1822, quotes a biblical passage on water flowing out of a rock; in the fading evening light I could not make out the full inscription but I assume it marks a landmark in provision of drinking water to the village of Mitcham.
