Victoria Terrace
Looking along Victoria Terrace and its continuation beyond, Marine Terrace, from the slopes of Constitution Hill, with part of North Beach on the right and Pendinas in the background.

This photo was taken the day after a violent storm, caused by a combination of spring tides and gale force winds, hit much of Southwest England and South and West Wales, with Aberystwyth being severely hit, with significant damage to the promenade.

Some of the damage can be seen in this photo: flagstones and a section of railings from the promenade can be seen scattered on the road in the foreground and further back sand from the beach can be seen spread across the road.
