Ford at Hazel Head Wood, Blow Gill
This ford on the Blow Gill is found on the road at Hazel Head Wood. It was a ford before it was rebuilt and it is now an irish bridge ford as evidenced by the row of pipes above the culvert. It is expected that the water will rise above the bridge in times of flood and flood the road creating ford conditions. The ford is clearly marked at both sides with the standard warning signs - 'Ford' and 'Try your brakes'.
