taken 9 years ago, near to Dealbhna, Westmeath, Ireland

The roofless Delvin Church
Built in the 14th century, initially as a defensive structure, it later became St Mary's Church of Ireland. With the decline in the number of parishioners the church became increasingly dilapidated and for safety reason the roof was removed in the 1970s.
