Church of St. John The Baptist, Werrington
A Grade I listed building, the Church of St. John The Baptist dates from the 13th. century with various additions in the 14th. and 17th. centuries. Originally a separate village, Werrington officially became a part of the city of Peterborough in 1929. The area has succeeded in retaining its village-like atmosphere despite extensive development and the encroachment of the city's urban sprawl.
