NH7458 : Black Isle coastline of the Moray Firth

taken 11 years ago, near to Balmungie, Highland, Scotland

Black Isle coastline of the Moray Firth
Black Isle coastline of the Moray Firth
The sand even at high tide provides an excellent surface on which to walk to enjoy this quiet stretch of coast. Recent exceptional tides have pushed the sand further into the narrow stretch of flat ground that contains a footpath running parallel to the shoreline. This view embraces the coast to beyond the North Suitor headland at the entrance of the Cromarty Firth.
