SK7953 : Flood gates closed at Mill Bridge

taken 10 years ago, near to Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire, England

Flood gates closed at Mill Bridge
Flood gates closed at Mill Bridge
When water levels rise on the Trent, the flow automatically closes the gates under the bridge [in an attempt to stop the locked section beyond flooding]. SK7953 : Coming through Mill Bridge shows the gates open and a boat passing through.
