The letters are only partially distinguishable.
The first letter could be the downstroke of a capital L, B or R. The next symbol appears to be a circle followed by the three letters "ook".
The next line is a capital B on its own and below this the date 1842.
River Mole, Darlick Moors to Newnham Station

The River Mole originates on Exmoor and terminates at the River Taw.
