NZ2564 : Former Worswick Street Bus Station

taken 12 years ago, near to Gateshead, England

Former Worswick Street Bus Station
Former Worswick Street Bus Station
The building, until the mid 1990s, was used as a bus station. It now serves as a car park in a run down corner of Newcastle city centre. The building, interestingly, is a lot taller at the end of the street nearest the camera than at the far end. This is because the building has a level roof line whilst the street is quite steeply sloping up away from the camera.
