Storm surge
Storm surge
Huge waves crashing over the harbour wall at Port William, the result of a deep Atlantic storm system coinciding with a very big spring tide. Elsewhere in the village houses were flooded by the sea, and the coast road north to Glenluce was closed in a number of places by waves and debris.
