The dragon dance at Liverpool's Chinese New Year celebration - performed to scare away evil spirits. The dragon is believed to be to linked to good luck, long life and wisdom. Performers use poles to raise and lower the Dragon, which is pursuing a 'Pearl of Wisdom' to the beat of several drums - searching for wisdom and knowledge.
