Cawkwell Medieval Village: aerial 2014
Probable Medieval settlement (hollow way, tofts, crofts, platforms, field boundaries, ridge and furrow and stack stand) seen as cropmarks and earthworks.
All fields north west of the road are arable and under crop with
the exception of the church site and that centred to TF 281799.
The latter contains a terraced road and quarrying. East of Cawkwell House the earthworks are field banks and south west of the house are minor fields and two possible steadings.
