Train to Tenbury? Not any more-Dowles, Worcs
Trains on the line from Bewdley to Tenbury Wells once crossed over the B4194 here, to the west of the meeting of the Dowles Brook and the River Severn and the still standing piers of the Dowles Bridge. The first train crossed here on 5th August 1864 and the last on the closure of the line in 1964. The Geopark Way from Bridgnorth to Gloucester passes nearby. This photo was taken on the day of the Railway Ramblers 2013 AGM, which was held in Kidderminster. Time taken 10.25 am BST (British Summer Time).
