The Sir Oswald Mosley referred to is the 4th Baronet. Not as well known as his grandson, of the same name and later 6th Baronet who was the leader of the British United Fascists, in his own day he was well known as "Baronet John Bull" due to his physical resemblance to the fictional character. There are a pair of these now well grown copper beeches outside the almshouses Link , Link
