Picton House, Thames Ditton
Picton House is the white house facing on to this roundabout, half way along High Street in Thames Ditton at the junction with Boyle Farm Road and St Leonards Road. There is a blue plaque to the right of the front door which reads 'CESAR PICTON who was brought to Britain from Senegal in 1761 aged six and became a wealthy coal merchant in Kingston. Lived here 1816-1836.'
