Granary at Home Farm, Peper Harow
Looking south across the farmyard. Though generally described as a granary, I have seen similar buildings described as 'cart-shed with granary over'. This one, it has to be said, is older than most, larger than most and Grade I listed: Link
The Surrey volume of 'The Buildings of England' (compiled for the most part by Ian Nairn) has this to say:
'GRANARY, probably of c.1600, the style and dimensions of a good-size market hall. . . . One of the best vernacular buildings in the South of England'. He describes the buildings around the farmyard as 'the best collection of FARM BUILDINGS in the county'.
