Erosion at Cobble Gap
Erosion at Cobble Gap
Much of this scene is unrecognisable from my last visit in 2008. One feature that appears in previous photos is the line of concrete drum defences on the beach. These are seen at the base of the cliff in Helen Wilkinson's 2007 photo, whilst in my photo taken in October 2008 they are still close to the base of the cliff. Now they appear to be at least 20 mtres or more further down the beach.
