Next plc is a retailer marketing clothing, footwear, accessories and home products with its headquarters in Enderby, Leicestershire. The company has over 550 stores throughout the UK and the Republic of Ireland. The company was founded by Joseph Hepworth in Leeds in 1864 as a tailor under the name of Joseph Hepworth & Son.
North Farm is a large estate on the north eastern edge of Tunbridge Wells with good access to the A21.
It is no longer an industrial estate in the true sense of the word, but composed of smaller business parks and retail parks (Fountains Retail Park, Spa Retail Park, Great Lodge Retail Park, Tunbridge Wells Shopping Park, King Standing Retail Park). It is now a major out of town shopping area with numerous famous names including Argos, John Lewis, Marks and Spencer, Currys, PC World, B&Q, Toys R Us and Staples. Knights Park Leisure Park is on the edge of the estate.
