Geograph - photograph every grid square

Just to the left of the image is 'The Silver Mines' and a flooded lime quarry with an old kiln. A great deal of silver was extracted and when I was a boy exploring the Bathgate hills it was possible to enter through the steam coming out of the mine. The flooded quarry was also a great place to swim. To the right of the photo was the farm known as WindieWalls where my Uncle James lived for a number of years.
The photo shows one of the massive Dykes that cross the distrct from the volcanic activity that raised the Knock Hill (just out of the view).
