Former Washwood Heath Bus Garage (1)
Former Washwood Heath Bus Garage (1)
Taken in August 2000, this photo shows the former bus garage which originally opened as a tramcar depot on the 1st January 1907. Situated on the B4114 Washwood Heath Road B8 2XJ, it was converted to a bus garage on the 1st October 1950. The board on a building to the left of the photo indicates that it was latterly owned by Travel West Midlands. Closed in August 1998 and subsequently demolished, a shopping development and car park now stands on this site.
