Ashaig airstrip runway 25, Isle of Skye
Looking along the runway towards Broadford. Ashaig airstrip was built by the Royal Engineers of the British Army and opened in April 1972. Loganair operated a scheduled service between Ashaig and Glasgow between 1972 until 1988. Recently the airstrip has been home to the annual Isle of Skye Music Festival Link
