taken 10 years ago, near to Lochranza, Isle of Arran, North Ayrshire, Scotland

A841 through Lochranza
A841 through Lochranza
The A841 encircles the island of Arran, though for more than half its circuit it is not now deemed to be an 'A' road. Here at the western end of the village of Lochranza at the top of the island it is seen heading westwards with the massive bulk of Torr Nead an Eoin (325m) directly ahead.
