Carman Hill-fort: possible hut-circle
See NS3779 : Ancient hill-fort on Carman Hill for the main description of the hill-fort. Click on the end-note title for related pictures, and see the annotated satellite view linked from the end-note as an index to these pictures and their positions in the fort.
There are some hut circles in the northern part of the fort's annexe; of one them is (I think) shown here as a round depression in the foreground, filled with rushes. The hut circles are shown, as far as space allows, on the 1:25000 map, and more clearly on larger-scale mapping. They are generally not easy to see on the ground.
The left half of the background includes some of the built-up areas alongside the River Leven: mainly Renton and Strathleven Estate.
For a different hut circle, located not in the annexe but within the fort's outer enclosure, and for more information about the hut circles within this fort, see:

Carman Hill-fort
This large hill-fort — see Link
(at Canmore) — was identified in 1954 from aerial photographs, and is thought to date from the Early Historic period (Dark Ages). See Link for a Geograph article on the fort. See Link
for an annotated satellite view, and Link for other antiquities nearby.
