Discussion on SP0327
John Simpson MICE designed some water storage lakes for the streams in Sudeley catchment 1978 1979, fire pond I think, and I nearly instrumented the Isbourne Valley for data on the Severn Trent 1974 data at the Crump weir near Warks. Avon confluence to be completed, with ADAS advice on farm plough rotations, Sudeley permission, while Richard use the work I had collected, to teach statistical pattern analysis to the Landscape Architecture students. This is a very flashy catchment with upslope steep zones and the stream just up from Sudeley had a broad weir already in place, vertical cut bank. Institute of Hydrology has some research on the hill on raingauges and zones (John Rodda, UCW, IoH style). There is quite a large amount of information, courtesy of Severn-Trent staff, flood, water balance, soil sediment loads, zones of intensive arable use. The Castle had Elizabeth I T.V. costumes in it.
