The Wye Valley Line
The line opened on 1st of November 1876 and ran for nearly 15 miles (24km) between Chepstow and Monmouth. It closed to passenger traffic on 5 January 1959 and to goods traffic in 1964. Though this small section stayed open till the early 1990's to serve the quarry.
