Surfing at Roker Pier
These pictures of surfers were taken from Roker Pier. High tide was near, and there was an onshore wind from the east. The waves grew in height as they were driven around the curve of the pier. 6 surfers took advantage of the narrow band of surf, which extended perhaps 20 metres from the pier.
