Yet another sample of this celebrated view (cf. NZ2463 : The panorama at the east end of Newcastle Central Station from the Castle, with the 'North Briton' express leaving for Edinburgh and others). Mainly 4EPB class EMUs on the North Tyneside services to be seen, but the ex-NER J71 0-6-0T station pilot is on the right and on the Goods Lines a BR 9F 2-10-0 waits on the Down for a path northward.
