NG1554 : Biod an Athair trig point

taken 8 years ago, 3 km from Galtrigill, Highland, Great Britain

Biod an Athair trig point
Biod an Athair trig point
Highest sea cliff on Skye at 313 [or maybe 314] metres. It is a very long way down to the ocean from just the other side of the trig point. Having battled against a strong wind to reach this point, it seemed odd that the small area around the trig point was almost windless, making it an ideal picnic spot and a place to view the sea eagles soaring overhead.
