A disused railway carriage stored awaiting restoration by Swindon and Cricklade Railway Link
near South Meadow Lane. This is on the trackbed of the dismantled Midland & South Western Junction Railway that operated between Swindon and Cirencester from 1883 to 1961. Here, South Meadow Lane crosses the track at the site of the former level crossing near Hayes Knoll.
