Limestone cliffs, Skelwith Hill
Limestone cliffs, Skelwith Hill
The flank of the hill that faces the Leven estuary is steep and has some considerable cliffs dropping straight into the tidal sands. At low tide it is possible to scramble around the base on shelving ledges.
