Geograph - photograph every grid square

A NS3482 : Forestry track ends here in a circular clearing. At the time when this picture was taken, the track was on two routes, the Three Lochs Way and the soon-to-be-officially-opened John Muir Way; the forestry track ends here, but those routes continue in the same direction beyond the end of the clearing, though in a different manner: NS3482 : Route through the woods.

In the present picture, there is a small wooden post at the far end of the clearing; it is just possible to pick it out in the photograph. It is better seen in a view in the opposite direction, from the far side of the clearing: NS3482 : Start of forestry track.
