Path to Darleith Muir
Path to Darleith Muir
The shaded downhill route shown in NS3482 : Route through the woods emerges into the open here. In the foreground, the path crosses a small burn (directed through a pipe). Ahead, the path disappears from sight here it passes through a gap in the trees; that gap corresponds to the angle, shown on the OS map, formed by the woodland edge.

(The path was later upgraded: see NS3482 : Path to Darleith Muir, taken from the same place as the present picture.)

The path then follows the woodland edge: NS3582 : Path to Darleith Muir.

See NS3482 : Path to Goukhill Muir for a view in the opposite direction along the same section of the path.
