Royal Tweed Bridge
Royal Tweed Bridge
Until the 1980s, the Royal Tweed Bridge carried the A1 trunk road. The A1 now bypasses Berwick-upon Tweed altogether to the west. It was built in the 1920s.
The railway bridge, the Royal Border Bridge, can be seen through the near arch of the bridge.
