Anglicised as Sandavore, this was the home of the musician Raghnall Mac Ailein Ņig from about 1705 until his death in 1741. See LinkExternal link and in particular the section on his houses. The little knoll of Cnoc Parlain (probably more correctly Cnoc Pharlain) is nearby.
