Priory Church, Deeping St. James
Priory Church dates from the 12th. century. As its name suggests, it originally formed part of a Benedictine priory which was dissolved in 1539 during the Dissolution of the Monasteries under King Henry VIII. The original tower collapsed in 1717 and was rebuilt in the 1730s.
