Worcester & Birmingham Canal - Diglis Bottom Lock
Worcester & Birmingham Canal - Diglis Bottom Lock
This is Lock No. 1 and to the left is Bridge No. 1 - the first lock and bridge on the canal. The two Diglis locks are broad to allow access to the basin but the next 56 locks are all narrow. In the distance is the spire known as 'the glover's needle'. The River Severn is to the left.
