The stone stands at the western side of the bridge over the Burn of Calletar south of Craigendowie.
The bridge is a listed building described on LinkExternal link as: "BRIDGE NEAR CRAIGENDOWIE OVER BURN OF CALLETAR (Ref:11240)
This building is in the Angus Council and the Lethnot And Navar Parish. It is a category B building and was listed on 11/06/1971. Single Arch, simple rubble-built, elevated roadway. Dated "I.M. M.F. 1713" and "REPAIRED BY THE PUBLICK 1759". Masonry on E. Side in poor condition."
