Church of St Cosmas and St Damian, Challock
Grade II* listed.
An isolated church down a lane which once ran to Ashford. It dates from 1100 AD, but is mainly from the 14 & 15th centuries. There are fragments of 15th C. glass and a 16th C. brass.
It was damaged in WWII, and when rebuilt the walls were painted with a series of murals.
The church is also used extensively for concerts and functions.
It is normally locked.
