John Muir Way and West Highland Way
John Muir Way and West Highland Way
The two routes (if followed in this direction) had coincided for the last several kilometres (see NS5379 : West Highland Way at Easter Carbeth). Here, at NS5379 : Ballachalairy Yett, they go their separate ways: the West Highland Way takes the lower path on the right, which leads past Craigallian Loch to Milngavie; the John Muir Way takes the Red Brae Path, which leads uphill beyond the gate on the left.
